And i lost 0.5 lb so i got my 14th silver seven! :o)

Now i know i said i would be happy with that, and i am, to a degree
But
Part of me knows how hard i worked last week, i totalled 35 bonus points and cycled for 5 out of 7 days and clocked up a minimum of 10,000 steps a day
Then Again
I do seem to work a week behind and have been here before, so maybe it will show up next week, be nice if it showed to the tune of 2lbs but i am going to try not to get too excited.

Mum is coming to stay with me Monday week for 7 days so it would be lovely to get it before then, and yes i am ready for all the lectures telling me i mustn't lose anymore, i know her so well, she WILL say it Lol

Here's to a good week whatever happens, it's going to happen, i'm just not sure what week it will be but if nothing else it keeps me on my toes!

Insurance that is, for me.

After he had come home and eaten his dinner on Wednesday, bearing in mind i had already walked 15,000+ steps, he decided we were going out for a bike ride.
I could have sworn he was trying to finish me off!

So off we went and we did about 6 miles that night but oh no, not content just to do it the one night we have now gone on a bike ride every night getting up to over 10 miles.

Today we have pottered about the house doing odd jobs and generally getting those jobs done you often don't have the time or inclination and we have just got back from a 11 mile bike ride.

All i can say is thank goodness i went out and bought us both gel seat covers because to say i had a numb backside the second night is an understatement!

To be honest i am really enjoying getting out in the sunshine and fresh air and not being stuck in front of a TV or laptop but it started to freak me out a little as every day this week that i have got on the Wii fit, i have gained a pound!

Now i have been angelic point wise and i have never been one to fluctuate from day to day(unless i do the body test at different times)so i was getting rather stressed, the old adage muscle weighs more than fat was in my head and bugging me.

Pleased to say that i now seem to have gone back down to what i was post WI last Tuesday so hopefully come Tuesday at the very least that 0.5 lb will be mine for my final silver seven, fingers crossed!

What a difference a year makes!

Well as my previous post said, i have now done a year at weightwatchers so as much as for me as well as hopefully spurring you on i am going to list some changes in that year.

Last Year
I could barely walk the 2 minute walk to the bus stop after work.
This year
I can walk all the way home which is nearly 3 miles.
Last Year
I was in a size 26-28 top and 22 Bottoms
This Year
I am wearing 12's and 14's
Last Year
I used to sleep 2 hours every afternoon
This year
I can't sleep at all during the day and have so much energy
Last Year
I had no confidence
This Year
Apparantely i have too much!
Last Year
All i wanted to do on my day off was clean the house then sit on my backside all day
This Year
On my day off i am continually looking for things to do as i seem unable to sit down for long
Last Year
Although i work in fashion i hated shopping
This year
I absolutely love shopping (sorry dear hubby)
Every year since 1992
I was on Anti depressants come winter.
This year
0 pills have passed my lips

The list could be endless but those are a few and if i could bottle how much better i feel now, i would surely be living somewhere in the sun and be very rich.

Weight Watchers does work and a year isn't really long in the grand scheme of things, and compared to many more years of being unhappy i know which one i would choose, over and over again.

If you are reading this, please stick with this, my life has changed so much for the better and i am happier than i have been all my adult life.

We only get one shot in this world, make it the best you can.

It's my birthday :o)

Well actually i lie, it's not my official birthday but today was my 52nd WI marking a year at weight watchers.
I haven't blogged much this week apart from adding the new weight tracker purely because most of last week i was full of cold and felt grotty and the best medicine seemed to be curly wurly's!

Actually, i didn't eat that many and i did manage to stay in points (just) so i am pleased to say i lost 1lb this week, which i am more than happy with considering i lost 4 last week.

So i now only have 0.5lb to get my 7 stone and 2.5 to goal.

If i am honest, I'd be happy with that half a pound as the 7 stone goal is as much of an achievement to me than actually getting to goal so with luck, this time next week i will be beaming and even closer to going to WW for free :o)

Thanks to WW....

who have finally got their heads around the weight tracker.
So now you can actually see all your losses on one page rather than having them on 3 or 4 pages which i found annoying to say the least so here is mine for the last 51 weeks.

Rather proud that it doesn't show too may blips!

I'm in shock!

Went to WI with the faint hope of losing maybe 1.5lbs as i dropped a point last week, got on the scales and i lost 4lbs!

I know i have had a good week points wise and still managed the 10,000 minimum steps a day plus the wii fit but i can honestly say i never imagined such a loss.

So now i only have 3.5 lbs to lose to get to goal and the reality is i could be at goal in 2-3 weeks maybe?

So pleased that i didn't have an egg :o)

Well i got up, showered, went to the wardrobe and i suddenly realised i had nothing to wear.

Now while its great that things are too big, it's also left me feeling as grumpy as i did when i was too big for anything.

Jeans are hanging off me, all my tops are too baggy and look awful and anything else i do have that fits is the sort of stuff i wear for work (smart) and not the sort of thing i like to wear at the weekend.

I even tried Hubby's jeans on which were a 34 waist and they fit, shame he's so blinkin short, rather chuffed i am a 34 waist tho :o)

So as i type i have managed to scrape together a size 12 mini skirt from Dotty P's that i initially bought for work and a jumper that i shrunk in the wash Lol

Not sure it's walking friendly clothing.....

But going to have to do!

6 months.......

I decided to take a pic in the same t shirt and this is the result,

Please ignore the face, i hated my picture taken then and this morning i feel rather rough (more than usual!) as i think i have a chest infection :o(

Also not feeling that good this morning as nothing fits me anymore!
Desperately need new jeans and the smaller i get the harder i am finding it to get jeans that are not hipsters, i hate the bloomin things!

Girly Shopping :o)

DD and i went for a walk around town yesterday (i think she quite likes the fact that mum likes to shop now)and we went into all teenagers favourite shop, Primark.

Well according to everyone i speak to their clothes are small but i am rather happy to report i easily got into a size 14 skinny jeans, didn't buy them as they were far too skinny but hapy all the same.

I also tried on some size 12 shorts and they fit as well!

Now i know i have been in a 14 evans for a while but i always think our clothes are big so i guage my size by other shops.

We also had a fabulous new handbag that came in this week that i instantly fell in love with, my darling hubby said 'oh i will buy that for you' so i now have it, has to be much better for me than any easter egg,and will last longer :o)

Happy Easter (without the eggs) everyone!

I have gone too far and need to stop!

I was speaking to my son on msn last night as he lives 160 miles away, i showed him the picture of us going to a gig (see left) and apparantely i look skinny in the face!

I suppose it's a lovely compliment in fact i know it is, but i'm sure it's just because he can't remember me ever being slim.

Still it's far better than what i get told at work, the latest saying is 'Go eat some pie!!'

And i lost 1.5lbs

Which means........i am finally in the 11's!!

I am very happy as this is a huge milestone to me, i was last this light nearly 20 years ago.

I did work very hard for that loss, over the last week i have walked 40+ miles and done 30-40 mins of wii fit, i am also going to drop a point this week as i have dropped into another stone, i know i don't usually drop until i have to but with all the extra work i have had to do for 1.5lbs i think it might be time.

Very happy bunny today and i am going to be extra healthy this week and cut out my snacks and turn them into fruit only.
