And i STS
If i am honest i thought i had gained a little as i had a SP (slaps hand)and it showed a 1/2 on so i suppose i should be grateful that was wrong
BUT
I had a perfect week, well within points, even dropped a point each day (leaders advice), exercised every day, walked and went out for a 7 mile walk on Sunday, so i wish i knew the reason!
Yesterday, the day before WI i blitzed the house, all windows were cleaned inside and out, curtains were taken down, washed, ironed and put back up, washed all skirting boards and did all floors, generally cleaned bathroom, bedroom, living room and kitchen, done some gardening and finally an hour of ironing before cooking the dinner...... AND NOTHING!
I seriously hope it shows up this coming week :o(
As someone posted a question on the 5+ boards yesterday as to whether you would lose weight from your wrists, it prompted me to take these pics before i have my rings and watch altered.
Not the best of pics, (it's kinda hard with one hand and close range) but as you can see i am lucky to still have my rings at all, i have a third ring that karl bought me a few years ago that actually holds my wedding and engagement rings on, well it did but even that is too loose now, if i actually hold my arm down, they would fall off.
I am dreading being without my rings for a few days but i think i am now close enough to bite the bullet and have them altered to fit.
and i lost 2.5lbs.
So i am now dead on 12 stone and 6.5 stone down, with luck any loss next week will mean i am in the 11's and that's something i never thought i would see so i think i would even be happy with 0.5lb.
9lbs to go to goal, we had a stand in leader this week as ours is on holiday and she thinks i can do it in the 4 weeks i have until my first ww anniversary, personally i think she's crackers and that's a tall order, i certainly wont be having weeks on slim fast or doing anything rash, if i get there i do, and if it takes longer, so be it.
I'm just so happy now, i really don't care when i get there, as long as i do :o)
We went out to a gig last night to see 'The Business' and for once i felt great!
It was so nice not to be 'the fat bird' that looks uncomfortable in her surroundings for once, i had my fab (well i think so) new dress on that i bought on Saturday (in a size 14!) and hubby absolutely loved it, his mate said he loved my schoolgirl look but i wont tell you what he asked me Lol
I did have the intentions of only having 3 drinks as i only had 1.5 points left but i think i ended up having about 6.....OOPS
Going to have to be rather good today as i have had an up and down week!
I've got a bad back again this week, well actually i seem to have had it for a few weeks but i put it down to all sorts of things, wrong size bras, in need of a new bed, wii fit etc etc but i have laid off the wii fit, wore different bra's (thought new ones were the cause) and nothing seems to make it go away, strangely enough it only seems to hurt when i am standing, one of the girls wondered if i was 'straightening up' my posture?
I must admit i have been doing the yoga and balance and i have been been conscious of how i stand due to my mother telling me i was 'getting rounded shoulders' and seeing pics of me from the back, suggests she is right, so i wonder if i am aching due to changes, or maybe it's growing pains??
Anyway i am off to the docs on Monday, just in case but i am missing my exercise, hope it doesn't show on the scales!
and i lost 1.5 lbs.
for that i put in a whole lot of work, walked over 40 miles, did 40-50 mins of the wii fit every day and even bought the wii fitness coach, it's a good loss but by god, i would want to lose 7lbs for all that work LOL
I'm off to Nottingham with my daughter today, we're going to see Riverdance (6th time),yes i know it hardly goes with the 'punk' image but it's something i have loved since i saw the first shows in London nearly 13 years ago for my 30th birthday. It really is an amazing show and the music is just fabulous, you really have to have seen it live to understand, you just can't grasp how good it is on tv or dvd's, and as it's the last tour, hubby told me i had to go rather than regret missing it later on.
We're going to hit the shops so hopefully that wont be too painful on the purse as the last time i did Nottingham there was only one shop i looked in..... Evans, the only reason i will be looking in there today is to see how it compares to our store, busman's holiday or what? :o)
I pledge to stay away from high point restaurants for lunch, whether i will manage it is another matter but here's hoping, daughter had a good loss on the scales yesterday as well so i want to keep her motivated too, maybe we can help each other, then again, maybe we will both just send each other off the wagon?
Wish me Luck!
I just never lie in!
I get up at 5am(ish) for work so how come on my days off i can never lie in anymore?
Ok so i was never one to lie in bed and a lie in constituted getting up at 7.30 max but i am now finding i just don't need sleep anymore!
6am on a sunday?
This is the woman that used to come home from work and snooze on the sofa EVERY day for sometimes 2 hours, now if i have as much as a 10 min power nap i am awake half the bloomin night!
I am averaging 10,000 minimum steps on my pedometer, doing loads of walking, wii fit and yesterday i bought the wii 'my fitness coach' (that's a whole new story!....ouch!)so i should be tired?
Obviously not, so i guess it must be all good?
The upside is that hubby is at work, i am about to hang a line full of washing out at 7am, the veg will be prepped for the roast when he gets home and the house will be tidy.
The downside....i will be bored by 10am! Lol
I have been a good girl and spent loads of time on the Wii Fit but decided i would try to concentrate on the muscle work outs and the yoga, hopefully they will tone the tummy up, to be honest it's not as bad as i feared it would be but with another stone off around it, it might yet be flabby so i will keep it up.
But..... Oh my god, i ache, i know they say no pain, no gain but hells bells, my back and tummy feel like they are being stretched!
Oh well, it has to be better than doing nothing, so onwards and downwards.
And i lost 2.5lbs so i now have less than a stone to goal, 13lbs to be precise!
Very happy today :o)
Well the sensible side of me went out the window and we bought a Wii Fit at the weekend.
First body test said i was 58 yrs old, not impressed at all with that!
This morning apparently i am 29 and lost 3lbs, i know the age is not going to change (sadly) but it'll be interesting what WI tomorrow brings.....if only!
I've also updated my fridge graph, i hadn't filled it in since Christmas but i think it shows apart from the odd blips (good excuses lol) that i have remained quite focused so i am chuffed with that.
Off to blend 2 pans of soup now, wish me luck!
I went shopping with a mate today and i saw a lovely skirt in Dotty P's so i took a 14 and 16 into the changing rooms, 16 was too big and the 14 was snug but wearable so i bought that.
Got it home and was showing DD who shouted 'You're a 12?'
Huh?
Looked at the label and it is indeed a 12
Yippeeeeeeeeeeeee
And i lost a mighty half a pound!
Now maybe i should be upset as it's been a waste of a week but to be honest i am not.
Most of you will know that we are supposed to drop a point when we go into another stone bracket, well i never have, i can't really see the point of dropping when i am still losing so therefore when i get to a week like this week, i then drop.
So this week i am on a point less and we shall see how it goes.
It's not a gain, that's the main thing!
So i went into work this morning for what was an extra 4 hr shift to sort out the audit for tomorrow, the boss came back from holiday and decided we were going to completely flip the store....oh joy, especially as it was only done last Friday!
So of course i was asked to stay, 'you can have a lunch break' she says.
NO!! my head was screaming, i wasn't prepared at all and opposite the shop is a Maccy D's!
So i was good and walked right past and i popped into a sandwich bar instead. They do salads to order but there were no carrots, no beetroot, no eggs (i can point them in my head lol) so i basically had Lettuce, Cucumber, Onion and some Tuna she insisted was in brine.
I changed handbags this morning and forgot my points calculator so Tesco's or Boots for a sandwich wasn't an answer, i refuse to eat something and point later as i know from old that not all 'healthy eating' sarnies are low in points.
Is this a sign that i am so obsessed with eating right or is it a good sign that my head has finally clicked and will it last?
This better pay off tomorrow or i might regret not having the rather lovely (huge) jacket potatoes with lashings of butter and fillings that the others were eating, actually thinking about it, considering one girl found a hair in hers (yuk) maybe i made the right decision, thank goodness they were from a different shop!
