Hubby has just told me we are going out for the day tomorrow.

Don't panic, it wont be a day full of lovely food in a nice little pub, it's more likely to be a rigorous walk somewhere in the peak district but very nice all the same!

People at club are always asking me if he is proud of me and i never really ask but today he said he was very proud indeed so that was nice to hear.

I gave my leader the link to this site so Sally, if you're reading this, a huge THANK YOU

But sadly, looks like you're stuck with me for ever because i don't want this high to ever end so that's me coming to bug you every tuesday from now on and i am counting on you to keep me on the straight and narrow.

One Very Happy Bunny!

Nothing much to report, i have had a good week food wise, stayed on track, done plenty of walking but it's been a fairly ordinary week for me.

Back at work and had plenty to do, the only good news this week was that i had to start buying my business wear for work.

Evans give us 75% off every 12 weeks to buy new clothes and there was a lovely tunic top/dress that came in which i liked, well one of the other girls liked it too and had sneaked the only size 18 away!

I knew the 20 would be too big so feeling rather brave i took the 16 into the fitting room to try and it fit!

I'm not sure if i ever thought i would fit into a 16 top again so i was really pleased, funny how little things can really make your day.

Keeping busy today as hubby is at work, so i am housebound when i really fancied a long walk out somewhere.

He's finishing at 3pm which means he'll be home by 4pm starving and wanting dinner, horrible time as its too early to have my evening meal with nothing after and too late to go from now to here without anything in between....arrrrggh!

I'm a miserable old boot!

WI Wk 39 and i lost 1.5lbs

Now if you have been reading you will know i was hoping for 2lb for my 75lb certificate.

But...... I'm grumpy!

I know i would be saying to anyone in my position '1.5 is a good loss when you've been on Holiday etc etc'

So why do i now want to eat the contents of my fridge even though i have lost this week?

And apologies should any men be reading this but,
Up pops mother nature an hour before WI how cruel is that?? Lol

Last Day...

of my holiday and all in all i think i have done rather well.

Apart from my blip where i went out with the girls i have stuck to the plan, walked for England and even managed to claw back the points that i had on Tuesday.

So what will the scales say tomorrow?

Will they reward me or will the walking have had the opposite effect?

To be honest, i think it's an achievement not to have gone over every day seeing as i have been at home all week so whatever the outcome i have to be satisfied in knowing that i have coped better than i would have done 8 months ago.

Roll on tomorrow!

Ouch Ouch Ouch!

Well today i have definite proof that you can SO quickly get out of condition.
Although the walk was fine at the time, BOY do i ache today!

I am so glad hubby is a qualified masseur, if i am lucky i might get my legs massaged tonight?

On 2nd thoughts i wont bank on it, they say chippy's and sparky's never do DIY when they get home so i wont hold my breath

So far had a busy day blitzing the spare room/office and cleared loads of rubbish up to the loft, i say it's rubbish, hubby says we need it, so up to the loft it goes until we throw it out in 6 months anyway....Lol

I managed to save 5.5 points yesterday (well the tracker wouldn't let me save all)so it's looking good, only 5.5 to save from now until Tuesday and i will have evened out the wine and food from tuesday :o)

So feeling rather rough this morning and being on holiday this week i decided Hubby and i would go for a walk in the Peak District.

It's a lovely place with beautiful scenery and even though it was so cold and foggy i knew it would blow the cobwebs away.

Here i am setting off with no make up, i hadn't even bothered to do my hair!

So off we set, it can be a rough walk at times, over rocks, water and up hills but i did all 7 miles and earnt myself 4.5 bonus points, can't be bad!

Even better that when i got in at 3.30 there was spag bol all made in the fridge ready to heat up (i should have had this last night lol) so i have only just had my lunch/dinner so i can see today being a good day for points :o)

The morning after......

and Yes, i have a hangover,so much for being good!

It all started off so well, for 2 rounds i managed to resist and have diet coke then the girls decided to go onto bottles of wine.

All i can say this morning is that i now remember why i don't drink wine.

Booze = food and we were in wetherspoons so we decided to order,, there was a 5% fat chili on the menu... not too bad i thought?

Tracker says 15 points! Eeeekk!!!

Noreen's site says 13 wonder which one i should go for? Lol

So as of today i am now in minus figures, 13 to claw back, thank god i have til next Tuesday!

And i lost 2.5lbs

2lb away from my 75lb certificate so i am hoping i will get that soon

Short one today as i am off into town with the girls, all the good intentions are that i wont drink or eat, diet cokes all the way and just have a girly natter
BUT
I'm a realist i might get up tomorrow with a huge hangover
We shall see!

Who says 1 point isn't much?

Well i finally decided to drop a point this week i should have done it when i got into the 13's but we decided as i was still losing why bother?

Yes i am still losing on 24... but i thought it was time to test the water and as i have said before, it helps me as i am gradually learning to live without as many treats and let's face it, that's what got me to 18+ stone in the first place!

Doing really well again this week so nothing much to report, on Wednesday Karl and i spent all day clearing the loft so he could lay some more boards, we filled the car for the tip/charity shops.

This week i am off work but as we are skint i plan rather boringly to blitz the house, minimise it completely so no doubt i will be filling the loft up again!

Hopefully i can drag him out for some long chilly walks as i have been a bit lazy lately we shall see!

Well it was weigh in today and i lost 2.5lbs so that's more than half of the gain gone, I'm still not back to what i was but hopefully come next week i will be there or close to it.

I finally treated myself to some WW kitchen scales this morning.
Now i always thought i had a bread intolerance but upon weighing 2 slices i found they were not the 2.5 i had been pointing them at, I tried a few different slices and some were as much as 3.5 per 2 slices so....Over the course of a week it was possible i could have been eating 7 extra points than tracked.

This week of weighing on new scales should be very interesting indeed!

I've never been one to guess but i never weighed things like bread etc i always just used the tracker so i am going to be extra vigilant this week and see if it makes a difference?

Next goal is the 75lb certificate, i have said i would love to be at goal for August when it's my wedding anniversary but i have worked out it's 16 more WI's til my 1year ww anniversary it's a tough call to lose 34.5 lbs by then but it might motivate me a bit more?

My 11 stone goal is not set in stone, i could be 11st 8 and still be in the healthy bracket, i am going to see how i feel about it once i get to 12st (ish)

So if i was to raise it to 11st 7 that would be a total of 7 stone lost and only leave me 27.5 to lose in 16 weeks, that is very achievable..... i think?

So it's day 5 and all is going well, i had planned the meals or most of the week and going to do the following week tomorrow and so far it's keeping me on that wagon.
I know to some it's a bit regimented but for me it really works knowing what i am going to have and as all the meals i make are lovely (show off!) i don't ever seem to have those 'oh but now i fancy something else' moments.

About the only exciting thing i have done this week apart from the norm of work, housework and sleep is to go to the cinema, i resisted any kinds of treats and thank god i did once i got there and saw the prices!

Having not been to the flicks since we saw 'Stuck on You' which i googled and that came out in 2003, i can't believe a drink and popcorn now cost £5.80, what a rip off!

Karl picked me up from work this morning and we stopped at the local cake shop which makes the most delicious fresh cream cakes and i bought 3, well as some of you will know there are 3 in my family but guess what?

2 were for him and one was for Sarah, i resisted!

I then got home to make them both bacon sandwiches while i made creamy mushrooms on toast followed by satsumas....go me!

And you know, i wasn't really bothered, i can make/buy them treats that once upon a time i would have eaten regularly and it really doesn't get to me anymore. I feel no anger, jealousy, no desire to have a 'bite', more importantly the desire to slap them silly for eating in in front of me has gone.

Thank the lord for that, i say!
