i have had since Tuesday.
So i woke up on Wednesday morning as if i no longer have a focus in my life.
Now i know that isn't true and now the real hard work begins but it's so strange when you have spent 54 weeks concentrating on a goal and then you are there, it's like....'what do i do now?'
Tuesday and Wednesday i went a bit over points, we're not talking massively,no huge treats, it totalled 5 points so relatively small but by Thursday i was determined to get back on it as i am not getting on that slippery slope.
Also this week i was talking to one of the 'skinnie's' at work and it turns out i am now only one stone more than her, now if she is skinny, i guess that makes me slim, but do you think i can work that one out in my head?
For so many years i have belonged to the 'larger lady' community (diplomacy coming in here lol) that i guess in my head, that's still what i am, i wonder how long it will take my head to catch up with my body?
But all in all it's been a fabulous week, Mum is coming to stay for a week tomorrow, i just hope she likes my ww way of cooking, she's 75 and i bet she's never used garlic or spices in her life so it could be interesting, she could go home very hungry! Lol
Off to prepare now, up at 6am on a Sunday, who'd have thought i would get back that energy i had so many years ago?
Another good reason for sticking with it guys!

Yes i am still going to go to classes and i want to lose another 5 or so lbs, i might just see if i can get into the 10's(5.5 lb away)but actually, if i can just maintain i would be happy as i know this is as you say a lifelong commitment.

I 100% know EXACTLY where you are coming from. Its almost like the whole thing you've been working for has gone and now there is a pool of "nothingness" ahead of you. I still haven't really found my next goal almost 4 months in, which is strange, I guess one of my goals is to maintain and my other goal I've just started is the 200 squat challenge.
I don't have my head around being slim either, its so weird!!! But to be honest I must be, my wardrobe is now full of 10s, 12s and 14s rather than 22s and 24s!!!
You'll work out your next goal hun, I hope you are getting on alright with maintenance.

Are you still going to go to class?
Are you happy with the weight you are now?
Maybe you should find a new topic to concentrate on? An old hobby, or finding a new one?
Although, when we enter into these things, we always know they are lifelong commitments, so I guess the challenge is never over.
Enjoy your achievements!! ;o)
