Very happy today as i lost 1.5lbs which was exactly what i needed for my 6 stone!

I'm getting loads of compliments and of course i feel great but i am also experiencing the downsides, well they are not really downsides as nothing feels greater than shifting all this weight but other people's opinions seem to be changing.

Of course i am getting that 'oh you don't want to lose anymore weight' from lots of people, well yes i do, i am happy with where i am but i am not ready to stop yet, i will know when i am so rest assured i wont turn into some size 0!

Also, i am feeling increasingly guilty because i have found this journey relatively easy, i do realise i have been extremely lucky to have been in the zone and so motivated for 44 weeks but having tried to lose weight before, got to goal and gained it all, tried again to lose and fail, i do know how hard it is, therefore i feel awful when i see people struggling.

It'd be so easy for me to say to people stick to the plan 100% as it works but of course i know that takes great will power and an awful lot of forward planning to be successful and sometimes it's not so easy.

I can't offer any wise words and trust me, a lot of people will ask for advice, all i can tell them is what i have done and what's worked for me, i just wish i could pass it on to everyone and they could all feel as good as i do, sadly i can't :o(

Sorry this turned into one great waffle but i do sometimes wish i didn't feel so darned guilty for feeling so darned good!

Getting There!

I thought i would post a pic of me in week 1 and one taken this morning before work (6am so not completely alert!)

You will notice i chopped my head off, purposely i might add but you can just see a few chins there.

You might also notice quite a drastic change of style :o)

But i will say i am getting fed up of people telling me i don't need to lose anymore, why do they do that??

And i lost 3lb!

Totally unprepared for that but extremely delighted as i now have 17.5lb to go, it just goes to show that you can work your socks off but there's no guarantee that it will show on the scales the week you want it to.

I didn't have the most active of weeks this past week so i can only guess it's from all the walking the week before.

It's encouraged me to get my backside out there again and aim for 10,000 per day at the very least!

I have CBA syndrome, it's official!

I dunno why (possible pmt) but i really can't be bothered this week!

Ever since WI i have wanted to eat rubbish, big bags of big choccy buttons are calling me, ater all the corner shop is only on the corner of our road (spooky that eh?)

I worked them out to be 22 points a bag, now theoretically as i am on 23,i could have a bag and live on 0 point soup all day......... couldn't i? Lol

I bought hubby a medium size bar of galaxy the other night and being the angelic one he is, it still sat in the fridge the next day, did you know galaxy bars can talk?

Well either that or my fridge is on the blink and making funny noises cos i swear it was calling me too.

The good news so far is that i haven't caved in, i really hope i make it to Tuesday and i will offer myself up for a slap and good talking to from Sally, my leader.

Planning to do fish, new potatoes and loads of veg for dinner but.......

You guessed it, i really can't be bothered to cook it let alone eat it, is it bedtime yet? Lol

And i lost 1.5lb

Happy with that (i guess) although i did have to work bloomin hard for it, kinda worrying as it's been quite a breeze so far.....unless it's going to show next week?

I think i might have to be prepared that i am not going to make goal by my anniversary (20.5lbs in 9 weeks) but what does it matter, it'd be nice, but the most important thing is i get there!

What a busy week!

I seem to have been either too busy or too tired to blog.

What with the snow and the buses that just can't run with a bit of snow on the roads in the last week i have walked home from work (3miles) 3 times and yesterday we even walked into town and back as hubby had an appointment at the opticians.

It's strange, but i now wonder why i used to bus home every day, i wont walk in the morning at 6.15am as I'm a chicken and it's still dark but i am finding it strangely relaxing putting my music on and walking home, just me and the tunes, by the time i am home i am all chilled.

I have averaged 7 miles a day so i have done over 40miles this week, i wont get excited about a good loss tomorrow just yet as i know it doesn't always work that way.

Points wise i have been angelic, it still surprises me that my mindset seems to be changing, i really don't miss 'naughty' foods as much as i thought i would.

By god , i really hope this lasts.....

And i lost 0.5lb

And believe it or not i was very happy with that, i had a good week, stayed in points, walked home from work etc but somehow i thought the good losses of late were going to even themselves out.

Looking at my card before WI i realised that i had lost 9.5lbs in the previous 4 weeks, 3 of which were last week so i somehow knew i was in for a small loss or sts this week.

Overall i have lost 10lbs in the last 5 weeks so that's still an average of 2lbs a week so absolutely nothing to sniff at.

Over the 42 weeks my average is 1.8lbs so according to ww that's a nice healthy weight loss and hopefully i will keep it off (that's not including the weeks at xmas where i gained and lost for 4 weeks!)

22lb to go, will i do it before my 1 year anniversary i wonder?

Back to basics this week, I'm going to shake up the foods a bit and hopefully get out and do some more walking, so here's to a week on plan!
