Well at this weeks Wi i lost a lb, was i upset?
Well yes and no, i don't suppose i thought i would slow down as quick as WI 4 but it was in the right direction so after i had thought for a while, i was pleased that at least i hadn't gained or sts.
It's been a busy old week, Tuesday was spent at Alton Towers where i had......a maccy d's brekkie AND a KFC but the good news was that it was all pointed and i still had some points left when i got home, plus i walked nearly 9 miles , did 20,000 steps and earnt 9 activity points.
I forgot to mention that i finally bought a ww pedometer and that has definitely given me a boost this week, i find i am walking more even to the point where i am walking instead of catching buses.
I've also bought the lateral thigh trainer out of the loft and dear old sis in law to be has given me her mini trampoline and they both now sit in the kitchen diner. Not only am i going on them at various times in the day, the OH and daughter are often found on them so that's good.
I am going to fight through the pain barrier, my calves were aching like mad this week but that's passed and now it's my feet but i will press on, it can't last for ever and let's be honest, my muscles were bound to be in shock!
Tonight i cooked a lovely ww pointed meal for all 3 of us and i'm pleased to say instead of the usual vegging in front of the tv, we all went for a 3 mile walk.
I don't know what's happened to me, i am actually enjoying myself, so long may it continue!
Well there's not much to say, i'm 3 WI's in and have lost my first stone. My clothes are already getting looser and i have managed to get into a pair of skinny jeans that have been hiding in the wardrobe for about 4 months, and funnily enough they are more comfy that when i last wore them so that's all good!
I'm still coping well with WW, although i do wonder if i will soon approach a day when i am bored silly and want to eat my body weight in chocolate. I am sure the girls on the 5+stone board will soon sort me out if i do!
Here are some shocking pics that i took just before WI 2 & 3, i have always been camera shy so even taking them is a huge step!
The one in the sun was at Thorpe Cloud in the peak district where i did 6 mile walk, i am quite proud that i managed to do that at all because last year when i went i only managed about a mile before my inhaler (i'm asthmatic) came out and we had to give up so the signs are already promising :o)

Anyway that's enough for now, i have a day trip planned to Alton Towers this week, i'm going to persuade the OH to take a picnic if i can, other than that the usual boring grind of housework and work!
Well this is my start and a position i have been in many times before. I have always been bigger than your 'average woman' whatever average is, but this time i weighed in at my heaviest. My bathroom scales have been in the loft for about 18 months so i had no idea what i was going to be when i walked into my first ww meeting on the 22nd April.
I weighed in at a shocking 18.7lb and although i feared worse it was still more than i had even been when i had my 2 children.
I am not dieting for my appearance, i am doing it purely for my health. I am asthmatic again after 20yrs with no symptoms and i obviously know the risks of diabetes so here i am.
Whether i will succeed is a different matter, i know it will be hard but hopefully with the help of ww and the ww boards i will crack it, i am feeling more optimistic than i have ever done before.
29th April
First wi and i have lost 8lb, which was rather amazing because i had a night out with the girls from work which included a chinese buffet (not my choice but rather yummy) and quite a few vodka's and malibu's.(not mixed together i might add!)
I am so focused, long may it last.
