Well we got back yesterday from our annual punk festival, absolutely shattered and according to the Wii a massive gain.
Last night i jumped on the wii and it said 13lbs, this morning, which is likely to be more accurate as i normally weigh on the wii in the morning and it said 9lb, better i guess but still a massive amount compared to the 2.5lbs i gained last year.
I did only have the full english breakfast 2 days out of 5 but obviously that made no difference, then again, the toast with butter on wont have helped, we didn't fall into the kebab shop late at night so i can only think it was the smirnoff ice and the fact that every time we went for a coffee i ended up having hot chocolate that came with cream and marshmallows!
I did wear my pedometer and in the 5 days i clocked up 30 bp's and walked over 60 miles, that obviously made no difference, good job it wasn't a 'lazy' weekend eh?
I haven't gone to WI today, partly due to the fact we are off to London tomorrow and i have a mountain of washing to do and the fact that my daughter came down with swine flu while we were away and i think she just wants her mum at home today, and of course coupled with the fact a 9lb gain would be pretty depressing, so the plan is to get back on the wagon first thing Friday morning and see if i can get the gain down a bit by next Tuesday.
Loads of people noticed that i was 5 stone lighter than last year's festival and one of the band members even had me sit down and talk diets with him, seems kind of weird sitting with an old punk talking carbs and every time i saw him he shouted 'oi skinny' at me!
The b&b were lovely as usual, we arrived to a bouquet of flowers in our room and when we got back Saturday night they had decorated our room with 'happy anniversary' banners, cards and a bottle of bubbly, we had to laugh as the Red arrows did a display at the weekend and they made a heart(pic below), think it was for us? Lol
Anyway all in all we had a fabulous time, loads of fun even if it is shattering but as soon as London is over i will worry about the weight then, chances are we wont be going anywhere til xmas anyway so plenty of time!

Absolutley Brilliant ! We were waiting for a taxi outside poundland,and one of the kids said " god look at all these people dressed like that!" I told them to shut up,some of my friends were here for the festival!
