Ok, this is my weekend so far,
Saturday 5.30am , eat breakfast and go to work, determined to stay on plan considering Friday was the first day i had stayed within points since WI.
8.00 am, colleague turns up and the conversation somehow turns to Maccy Ds , not hard when you consider we both used to have them for breakfast every day pre ww, but we resist....
10am and 4 hrs work later my resolve is weakening and no sooner than we mention it again i am over the road buying 3 breakfasts for us and another weak minded colleague!
Ok, not the end of the world points wise, i can make that up can't i?
Well i could if i didn't then leave off at 12 and go for a coffee with the same colleague, the coffee turned into a hot chocolate and in for a penny, i also had a slice of Banana Cake AND Cream...
Oh dear,
So i get home and try to point it all up somehow, by this time i am thinking, 'oh forget it' and eat a Crunchie!
So with all this in mind and the fact it is hubby's birthday this weekend and my daughter is away so we have the house to ourselves i decide i might as well have the weekend off.....
So he texts me to say he is on his way home from work, at that point i decide we might as well go out for dinner.
We drive out to a lovely little pub and i have sirloin steak, chips, mushrooms soaked in oil, onion rings and peas , i of course then need a desert so follow it up with Apple Pie and Ice Cream!
I have to say it was lovely and i didn't feel guilty!
Waking up this morning and wishing him a Happy Birthday i thought it would be cruel to stress about getting back on the wagon and ruining his day worrying about points so i decide to have today off too.....
Lunch was,
2 rather yummy crusty rolls with ham and cheese, a mini pork pie, a scotch egg and REAL walkers crisps, followed by not one but TWO doughnuts!
By 2.30 i am asleep on the sofa, something i haven't done for absolutely months and months but i felt awful, i was so lethargic that waking up at 4pm i decided the only thing to do was go for a bike ride.
So 10 miles and an hour of cycling later something has clicked again, i have slapped myself hard and realised i was kidding myself, i haven't had a weekend off, i have just made myself ILL!
So as i am typing this i am sat with a bottle of cold water and a packet of Rennie Deflatine's, i am so full i can't even contemplate a cup of tea so let this be a lesson to myself, treats might be nice at the time but i ultimately pay the price and i just hope i remember this next time i am tempted!

I know how you feel. I sometimes fall off big time but manange to click back in to pointing in time for Monday morning. I've had a slightly wobbly weekend but will be right back on it tomorrow. Sounds like your cycling should be good damage limitation :o)
